Instructional Terms
Intuitive Reiki Mastery is an educational and experiential training designed to deepen your Reiki practice and support your development as a Reiki Master, practitioner, teacher, and facilitator.
The course includes instruction in advanced Reiki techniques, attunements, energetic practices, intuitive development, subtle-body awareness, facilitation, ethics, teaching methods, leadership, and professional development.
The instructor will provide guidance, demonstrations, course materials, practice opportunities, and feedback throughout the training. Completion of the course and receipt of certification indicate that you have participated in the required training and instructional components; they do not guarantee mastery, professional success, specific healing outcomes, or readiness for every client, teaching, or business situation.
Students are encouraged to continue practicing, integrating the material, developing discernment, and pursuing additional education or professional support when appropriate.
Course Guidelines

Sharing during group sessions is intended to support reflection, learning, and connection. Please listen respectfully when others are speaking and allow participants space to share without interruption.

Each participant brings a unique perspective, experience, and energetic presence to the group. You are invited to speak from your own experience using language such as, “I feel,” “I think,” “I noticed,” or “In my experience.”

Sharing is always optional unless participation is specifically required for a practicum or certification exercise. Questions and contributions are encouraged because they may also support the learning of others.

Please avoid diagnosing, interpreting, or assigning meaning to another participant’s experience unless they have explicitly asked for your perspective.

If you feel you may have insight or information that could be helpful to another participant, please ask for their consent before offering advice, intuitive impressions, healing suggestions, or personal feedback.

The group is intended to be as judgment-free and compassionate as possible. Participants are encouraged to notice assumptions, judgments, projections, or reactions that arise and use them as opportunities for self-awareness and reflection.

Recommended meditations, exercises, journaling practices, and supplemental activities are offered to deepen learning and integration. Unless otherwise stated, participation in these activities is optional.

Please honor your own capacity. If an exercise, discussion, or energetic practice feels overwhelming, you may pause, step away, or ask for support.
Participant Responsibility
As a conscious participant in your own learning and development, you are ultimately responsible for your choices, actions, participation, and integration of the material presented in this training.
You are encouraged to honor your own physical, emotional, energetic, and personal boundaries throughout the course and to participate at a level that feels appropriate for you.
The instructor may offer guidance, reflection, and educational support, but each student remains responsible for determining how to apply the material in their own life, Reiki practice, teaching, and professional work.
Certification Requirements
Certification is awarded upon satisfactory completion of the required instructional hours, attunements, experiential exercises, and practicums designated for the program.
Attendance alone does not automatically guarantee certification if essential portions of the training are missed or required practices are not completed.
If a student misses a required component, the instructor may require additional practice, or make-up work before certification is issued.
Completion of Intuitive Reiki Mastery does not imply licensure as a medical, mental-health, counseling, or other regulated healthcare professional.
Reiki Lineage & Teaching Authorization
This training includes instruction in Reiki Master-level practices and attunements within the lineage and framework taught by Songbird Journeys.
Students who successfully complete the training may incorporate the Reiki techniques and teachings they have learned into their own practice and teaching, within the scope of their training and certification.
Completion of this program does not automatically authorize a student to represent themselves as an instructor, trainer, certifying teacher, or official representative of Songbird Journeys, Intuitive Reiki, or Intuitive Reiki Mastery.
Separate written authorization is required to teach, license, reproduce, or certify others under the Intuitive Reiki or Intuitive Reiki Mastery name, curriculum, branding, or proprietary methodology.
Intellectual Property & Course Materials
All course manuals, slides, videos, recordings, exercises, worksheets, graphics, frameworks, written content, meditations, and other materials created by Songbird Journeys are intended for the enrolled student’s personal and professional development.
Course materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, uploaded, sold, shared, published, or used to create derivative courses, trainings, certifications, or educational products without prior written permission from Songbird Journeys.
Students may incorporate the knowledge, skills, and techniques learned in the course into their own Reiki practice and teaching, provided they do so in their own words and within the scope of their training.
Students may not reproduce or teach the Intuitive Reiki or Intuitive Reiki Mastery curriculum as their own, nor use the Songbird Journeys name, course titles, branding, slides, manuals, or proprietary frameworks without written authorization.
Payment Plans
Enrollment through a payment plan represents a commitment to pay the full tuition amount.
Payment plans are offered as a convenience and are not month-to-month subscriptions that may be canceled after participation has begun.
Withdrawal from the course, inability to attend, completion of the course, or a decision not to continue participating does not automatically cancel any remaining balance due, subject to the refund and transfer policies stated below.
It is the student’s responsibility to maintain a valid payment method for the duration of the payment plan.
Refund & Transfer Policy
Refunds are not available for courses.
If you have purchased the course and are unable to attend, your payment may be applied as a credit toward a future qualifying Songbird Journeys course or service, subject to availability and approval.
Course credits are non-refundable and may not be exchanged for cash.
Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, course credits are intended for the original purchaser and may not be transferred to another person.
Any private training may involve additional fees depending on the circumstances.
Legal & Medical Disclaimer
Intuitive Reiki Mastery is intended for educational, spiritual-development, and complementary wellness purposes.
Reiki and the practices discussed in this course are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any physical illness, mental-health condition, or medical disorder.
Nothing presented by the instructor, guest teachers, or participants should be interpreted as medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
Students are encouraged to consult appropriately licensed healthcare, mental-health, legal, or financial professionals when support in those areas is needed.
Reiki should not be used as a substitute for qualified medical or mental-health care.
Scope of Practice
Reiki practitioners and teachers are responsible for remaining within the scope of their training and professional qualifications.
Participation in this course does not qualify a student to diagnose physical or psychological conditions, provide psychotherapy, prescribe treatment, or represent themselves as a licensed healthcare or mental-health professional unless they independently hold the appropriate professional credentials.
Students are encouraged to recognize when a client or student may require support beyond the scope of Reiki and to refer to an appropriately qualified professional when necessary.
Emotional & Energetic Experiences
Energy work, meditation, self-reflection, attunements, and group learning may sometimes bring up strong emotions, memories, sensations, or personal experiences.
Students are encouraged to honor their needs, pause participation when necessary, and seek appropriate support when needed.
The instructor and course are not responsible for processing or resolving all emotional, psychological, or personal material that may arise during training.
If an experience feels overwhelming or beyond what can appropriately be supported within the course setting, students are encouraged to seek additional support from an appropriately licensed mental-health or healthcare professional.
Assumption of Responsibility for Participation
Participation in meditations, Reiki exercises, energy practices, partner work, touch-based demonstrations, and experiential activities is voluntary.
Students are encouraged to communicate any concerns, limitations, or preferences and may choose not to participate in an exercise or may request modifications when appropriate.
Students are responsible for making decisions about their own participation based on their personal comfort, needs, health, and circumstances.
Consent & Touch
Some portions of the training may include hands-on Reiki, partner practice, attunement demonstrations, or other forms of consensual touch.
Students are expected to ask for and respect consent at all times.
Consent may be withdrawn at any point.
Hands-off alternatives may be used when appropriate.
Intuition or energetic perception does not override another person’s right to choice, consent, privacy, or bodily autonomy.
Recording & Online Learning
Portions of the course, including live online sessions, guest teachings, demonstrations, or group discussions, may be recorded for educational use within the private course platform.
Recordings are intended only for currently enrolled students and may not be downloaded, copied, distributed, shared, reproduced, or posted outside of the course unless explicit permission has been given.
Because live classes may be recorded, students should understand that their voice, image, questions, or participation may be captured.
Students who prefer not to appear visually in online recordings may turn off their camera when appropriate. However, complete participation in certain live exercises, demonstrations, or certification requirements may still be necessary.
Confidentiality
Personal stories, experiences, disclosures, and information shared by participants during class are to be treated as confidential.
Students agree not to share another participant’s personal story, identifying information, or private experience outside of the group without that person’s explicit permission.
Confidentiality helps create a respectful and supportive learning environment.
Please note that while the instructor will make reasonable efforts to encourage confidentiality, Songbird Journeys cannot guarantee the actions of every participant.
Guest Instructors
Guest teachers, facilitators, or subject-matter experts may contribute to portions of the course.
Guest instruction is intended to enhance the educational experience and may include topics such as psychology, facilitation, trauma-informed practices, classroom dynamics, business, leadership, or related areas.
Guest instructors are responsible for their own teaching content and professional perspectives.
The inclusion of a guest instructor does not imply that Songbird Journeys is providing licensed medical, psychological, legal, or financial services.
Course Changes
Because Intuitive Reiki Mastery is an evolving training, the instructor reserves the right to adjust the order, format, schedule, teaching methods, guest instructors, or specific course topics when necessary.
Changes may be made to improve the educational experience, respond to the needs of the group, accommodate unforeseen circumstances, or reflect updated teaching materials.
The overall purpose and core learning objectives of the training will remain substantially consistent.
Technology & Online Participation
Students participating online are responsible for having a reliable internet connection, functioning audio and video equipment when required, and access to the necessary online platforms.
Technical issues originating from a student’s internet connection, device, software, or personal setup are not grounds for a refund.
Students are encouraged to test their technology in advance and contact Songbird Journeys if assistance is needed with access to the learning platform.
Participant Conduct
The training is intended to be a respectful, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Students are expected to treat the instructor, guest teachers, fellow participants, and staff with respect.
Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, repeated boundary violations, unsafe behavior, disruptive conduct, or behavior that compromises the emotional or physical safety of the learning environment may result in removal from the course.
Songbird Journeys reserves the right to remove a participant from the training when reasonably necessary to protect the integrity and safety of the group.
Removal due to serious misconduct does not automatically entitle the participant to a refund.
Earnings Disclaimer
This course is intended for educational and professional-development purposes.
While business, marketing, branding, teaching, and professional practice may be discussed, no specific income, revenue, client volume, business success, or financial result is guaranteed.
Your professional and financial outcomes depend on many factors, including your experience, effort, decision-making, business practices, market conditions, personal circumstances, and how you apply the material.
Force Majeure, Emergencies & Instructor Cancellation
Songbird Journeys reserves the right to reschedule, relocate, modify, or postpone a course due to illness, emergency, severe weather, venue issues, public-health concerns, technical disruptions, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
If the instructor must cancel or significantly reschedule a training, reasonable efforts will be made to provide an alternative date, online option, course credit, or other appropriate remedy.
Songbird Journeys is not responsible for travel expenses, lodging, lost wages, childcare costs, or other personal expenses incurred by students in connection with attending the course.
Agreement
By enrolling in Intuitive Reiki Mastery, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
You understand the educational and experiential nature of the program, the scope and limitations of Reiki training, the payment and refund policies, the confidentiality expectations, the intellectual-property restrictions, and your responsibility for your own participation, integration, and professional practice.
