Yes, however, there are many reasons why we may not be able to make a connection. A life review process usually happens after transition and can take 4-6 weeks.  Sometimes a soul may not be ready to come forward or they may not have anything to say at the moment. Sometimes, they are fulfilling a role (like a job) in the after-life.  

In most cases, there is someone in the family or circle of friends who is willing to come forward or a spiritual guide available to answer questions if the person you are requesting is not available. 

After a soul crosses over, there is usually a life review that takes place. This allows the soul makes peace with his/her passing. I am told this can last 4-6 weeks. However in some cases like where there has been an unexpected transition, the soul may have a message to convey sooner. 

You can stay connected to loved ones by thinking of them, talking to them, or journaling to them. Many times our loved ones are around and watching over us. Prayer and meditation are great ways to stay receptive and aware of signs and our subtle-body senses, which is how we can tell when our loved ones are communicating with us. 

Often times, our loved ones may be trying to communicate with us in the form of thought, signs, or we may even feel their presence around us.

At the start of a reading, I say a quick prayer to open up the session. If there is someone we are hoping to connect with, I invite them in to be available for the reading. I then open up to see who appears and relay any messages for the recipient. 

My strongest sense of intuition is clairvoyance, which means I receive messages via images. I do my best to interpret the images, but sometimes I don’t know what the image means. When that happens, I may ask for more clarity or describe all the images that I am intuitively seeing and it’s usually a message that the recipient will understand. Sometimes, messages will appear in thought form in what is known as clairaudience. I also get feeling qualities, known as clairsentience, and will communicate what I am picking up.

Spirit guides can come in many forms as angels, guardians, ancestors, ascended masters, enlightened beings, spirit animals and/or elemental energies. Our spirit guides are usually made up of a team of at least one, but often many of these different forms. Consider them “your team” or your counsel, there to provide assistance and guidance in any situation. Some have been with you many life times. They each play a special role in your life, orchestrating as one cohesive unit to help you along your path. 

They are usually waiting around for us to ask them for help and often times, guiding us or giving us gentle nudges throughout the day. 

The notion of past-lives refers to the soul of having more than one life or incarnation into the human body throughout existence. Past-lives can give us a glimpse into karmic lessons and let us know if any imprints or stuck energy are inhibiting a soul’s evolution. Many times during a reading, a few past-lives will present themselves that may be applicable to what you are currently going through in your life to help you move beyond a certain area. 

Note: some may argue that time is somewhat of an illusion. Therefore, past, present, and future lives may exist simultaneously on different dimensions. 

The Akashic records is a compendium of all universal events, thoughts, words, emotions, and intent ever to have occurred in the past, present, or future in terms of all entities and life forms, not just human. Think of it as a gigantic library existing in a non-physical plane. The Akashic records holds the history of our souls. 

We can find information from the origins of a soul, past lives, present situations, and future possibilities. Whatever is revealed to us is what we need to learn in that moment, at that time, to support us on our journey.

Absolutely! They love it when you communicate with them. You can meditate for a few minutes with the intention of getting to know them and ask them for signs and clues to help you know what they’re trying to communicate to you.

From my experience and in learning from other mediums who have been doing this a lot longer than I have, those who chose to take their life early are met with the same love and peace as anyone else who has transitioned. During their life review process, they are confronted with the gravity of their decisions and they often realize the lessons they missed out on learning had they chosen to stay in their bodies longer. After they have gone through the life review process, many choose to stay around their loved ones or go onto fulfill assigned roles in the after-life. 

In my experience doing readings, in research I have done, and in scientific accounts of people who have flat-lined and come back to life, the stories are very similar. It seems consciousness still exists and is able to learn and experience outside of the body. Many accounts experience a bright light and being greeted with unconditional love and peace. They often see other family and friends who have made their transition. For those who come back to life from NDE’s (near death experiences), they sometimes remember a sense that their work has not been complete and they often return with a renewed sense of purpose. 

For those who fully transition to the other side, they may see guides and angels there to assist them in understanding their mission on the planet and life review. A life review is like continued education in the after life. I am told that often times, souls are given roles to fulfill (like jobs) while they wait for loved ones on earth to transition. I am told, some souls are reincarnated. Though when this happens, will vary.

According to readings that I have done and knowledge passed to me by my mentors, it appears that the souls of still births, abortions, and miscarriages are often reincarnated into the next child (or child after that). If a mother has suffered such a loss and children are not in her future, I am told that the soul may stay with the mother or choose to incarnate with another family member. 

In my experience and from what I have read from other mediums, the soul of a child who has passed before their 18th birthday continue to “grow” in the afterlife. They may come back and reincarnate with the same mother, family, or wait for the parents on the other side. 

Here is an example, I was doing a reading for a friend when I got a vision of girl who appeared. She was about 4-5 years old wearing a dress with red polkadots. My friend told me that she had given birth to a baby girl that did not survive and that it was about 4-5 years before we did the reading. In addition, my friend told me she had a dream about a little girl that was wearing a polkadot dress. It seemed so vivid. She never told anyone about the dream, not even her husband. During the reading, the parents asked if they would have another child and if the girl would be incarnated into their second child. I got a confirmation that yes, she would be reincarnated and yes, they would have another child. A month later, my friend told me she was pregnant. She gave birth to a healthy, beautiful baby boy.
